This year we are determined to make a difference. While we'd like to think sweets make the world go around, that's not the case. At Cake Crumbs we've been searching for a way to support our local community in a large way; we've wanted to make an impact and 2012 is the year to do it.  Cake Crumbs and The Denver Cupcake Truck are teaming up with Metro CareRing, one of Denver's largest hunger relief organizations, to curb hunger on the streets of Denver. Fighting local hunger matters greatly to each and every Cake Crumbs employee and owner.  By purchasing from Cake Crumbs and The Denver Cupcake Truck, you are contributing to the mission of Metro CareRing by providing meals to thousands of people in our community who are going hungry. Cake Crumbs and The Denver Cupcake Truck will contribute a portion of sales to Metro CareRing from in-store promotions and designated truck events. While Cake Crumbs values all local nonprofits and charities, we are eager to make a greater impact by designating Metro CareRing as our nonprofit partner. Our first event will be held on February 12th where The Denver Cupcake Truck will be donating 25% of all proceeds for the day to support Metro CareRing. Time and location will be announced soon.
